Niagra Falls

The power of Niagra Falls is inexplicable.  You have to experience it yourself!  This is the view of Horseshoe Falls from the U.S. Side at night.

Nikola Tesla was instrumental in harnessing energy.

One morning at our hotel in Niagra, NY, the fire alarm went off.  We slowly left the building and waited for the fire department to do their work.  Come to find out somebody put a paper plate into oven.  Thus, a sign was needed to not put paper plates into the oven.  Fun memory!

We found a single lock on the fences near the falls.  The name "Coy" was on it!

Ready to ride Maid of the Mist boat to get a closeup view of Horseshoe Falls.

American Falls from our boat.

The power of the falls was amazing!

Approaching Horseshoe Falls on the boat

You get so close on Maid of the Mist that it's almost like it's raining!

Andrea trying to stay dry!

We made it out of Horseshoe Falls but we were soaked!

Ila found a snail on the way back up the trail and rescued it to the safety of the rocks.

We were able to ride the trolley to a few spots to see more the falls!

We also got to tour Cave of the Winds!  You know you're going to get wet if they give you shoes to wear on the deck.

We found a snake on our journey to the Cave of the Winds.

The decks at Cave of the Winds allow you to get up close to the American Falls.  You can touch the falls, get soaked, and even partake in a drink of the fresh water.

Rainbows were abound on this walk!

This video does not do the power of the falls any justice!

Taste the rainbow!

Andrea and Ava "experiencing" the falls.

This is a view of the falls from the Canadian side at night!

The falls from the Canadian side during the day.  You can see the falls better from Canada but you can experience it better on the U.S. side in our opinion.
