We after hunting just the right pumpkins,
we went right to work making them
into happy faces!
We put on the appropriate pumpkin carving
dresses and pulled our hair up
to give us adequate eye power.

Then we got in up to our elbows

and it was not pretty.
We got all the gloopy glop out that we could.
Daddy and mommy helped, but we did most of the work.

Ewwww, wanna a bite?

Daddy then was so kind to cut out
the eyes and mouth for us.

We just loved our pumpkins.

Then we set them on our front porch for all
our neigbors to enjoy.
We like showing off our hard work.
Then a couple weeks ago they were gone.
There were tears and saddness, maybe
mommy should have told us some story about
how they went to live with the other pumpkins down south
for the winter, but no....she told us daddy threw them away
and we just had no idea why daddy would do such a thing.
Oh well, we have now moved on the making turkeys and talking
about what we are thankful for. Hmmm, where do you suppose
our paper Turkey we made today will go in a few weeks?
