Weddings are so much fun!

Ava was asked to be the flower girl in cousin Alyssa's wedding!

She totally LOVED being a mini-Princess

with Princess Alyssa.

She also held the attention of so many during pictures.

She really knows how ot steal a show, must have learned

that from her father;)

She really did have a GREAT time and looked so beautiful!

We sure have been having a GREAT summer in KC country. I have been taking Fairy Tale Princess Ballet this summer, we just had our last class and recital this past Monday, hopefully mom will be able to post my performance and some pics soon. Besides ballet, we've been to the library, the KC Zoo, and the pool and many parks. We've enjoyed playdates with many friends and look forward to finishing out the summer with more pool time and park time. We are enjoying the outdoors as much as possible.

Ema and I last week stayed with Gpa Randy and Gma Beverly. We got to ride the horse, have a picnic in the Truck, and run Gpa and Gma ragged. Mom enjoyed hanging out with the girls in Dallas for a BIG Mary Kay celebration where their unit celebrated $650,000 retail unit club for last year. This year their goal is $1,000,000!!! Very exciting to watch them work and grow and touch so many women's lives. While us girls were all gone, daddy and Sandy enjoyed being bachelors. Daddy painted the bathroom and made it look really nice and clean, wonder what he'll do while we're gone next week. Mom is off to 3/4th grade camp in Augusta and Ema and I get to visit more family. We will get to enjoy Faren and Alexis for a few days and then go to Papa Larry and Grandma Julies. So stay tuned for more pictures of our many summer adventures!!!

Feeding Sandy...

The girls love to feed Sandy. Ema is getting the hang of it and even has taken it to a new level. Here she is sitting up on Sandy's food tray. She likes to get up and sit on anything she can. On this day however I think she was doing it to show Sandy how to eat his food. She recruited Ava to help with the demonstration.

"The first thing to do Sandy is get into position where your food is delivered."

" After you get to your eating station, you dig right in and enjoy your food. Don't forget to lick the bowl clean. Any questions Sandy?"

A little girl, a birdhouse, and a smile...

Last weekend Ava helped daddy make a bird feeder and a birdhouse. The bird feeder has been getting a lot of action from the local flock of robins, bluejays, black birds, cardinals, and the occasional squirrel. Ava did a beautiful job painting the birdhouse. She even picked out the color. Watch out Bob Vila, Ava is on the rise.

What do you think about my birdhouse? I think the birds will love it!

Ema hasn't quite started walking yet. She loves walking around holding your hands. She loves cruising everywhere as long as she has a hand on something. She even loves pushing the little shopping cart around and other things. We think she's waiting until she can just start running. Then she can keep up with Ava. But she has started standing on her own some...
