Playing with our Christmas toys

Now don't ask me why, maybe it's because unwrapping presents was a workout or because she knew she was going to get hot riding her scooter, as soon as we opened that gift, our PJs came off.

Barbie's new house!
Of course, she needs a couch in her bedroom.

Let's go!!

Christmas Lunch

Granny C & Papa Sam came over and brought lunch,
black olives are yummy, especially right off the vine,
I mean finger:)

Then we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and blew out candles!

Merry Christmas

Opening presents is SO MUCH FUN!!
Even Ema got in on the fun, of course, I think
she ate more than she opened.

And, opening presents is quit exhausting.
Ava watching a bit of the Christmas parade.
Ava was very helpful--first she helped Daddy,
and then she helped Mommy,

but Ava's favorites to open were her own.
Here she is opening her scooter,
don't know if you can tell or not,
but here reactions was open mouthed excitement!

Christmas #1

Daddy wrestling with cousin Bryant
Hold them there Ava--keep them under control!
Hello Kylee, we miss you!
Ema had many stories to share with her Auntie Heather!

Great Cousins--Ava, Ashley, & Bryant

That crazy Uncle Larry, he's so much fun!

Ava playing with her Christmas presents.

Our first Christmas of 2007 was with Papa Sam and Granny C! They invited us over for some yummy lunch and to open presents.
Unlce Larry, Auntie Heather, and cousins Ashley and Bryant were there.
We had so much fun opening presents and just hanging out with them and enjoying our time. Thank you for such a wonderful day!
Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

the story of baby Jesus.

Getting ready for Christmas

We finally put up our Christmas decor.
Ema got in on the fun and helped hang the ornaments.
Mom on the other hand was ready for bed.

This is the Perfect place for this one dad.
So cute!

Snow is so Beautiful---and COLD!

Mommy & Ema enjoying some snow.
Mommy let me in, it's cold out here.
Ema 6 mo old.

Can you believe that, we have survived the first 6 mo of Ema's life.
It has gone so fast! We are so blessed to have her in our family.
At her 6 mo check up Dr. Mellick said she looked beautiful, we'll we
already knew that. She was 17 lbs. 5.1 oz. and 27.5 in. long.
She is in the 93% for length, where she got that I don't know.
She has also now started eating cerals twice a day and LOVES it.
I think she loves sitting at the table with us the most and being with her
family at meal time! It's so much fun to watch her and Ava.

I'VE HAD ENOUGH, LET GO OF ME AND LET ME GO INSIDE! I'M FREEZING!!!!

Good thing my dad is STRONG!

Sandy wanted to give a try at pulling Ava
