Some pics of Ila

Here is Ila with Granny C at Ava's BD party.

talking to herself in the cup.

It's the simple things in life that make it so much fun!
Do you see the abuse I have to put up with?
One of these days I'll be able to dress myself and I can
finally wear my WILDCAT purple!!!!
Deep in thought!

They try to block my way, but NO ONE

can stop me!!!!

Me and my daddy

I have a lot of retraining to do with him

but I'll keep him!!!

Ema happenings

Labor Day we enjoyed a family outing to

Deanna Rose Farmstead

The girls had a great time in the 1-room school house!

sitting at the desks drawing on our blackboards
Ema relaxing in the pool at Ava's birthday party!

Ema's picture--I think maybe of herself or mommy

Not sure which, but check out those beautiful eyelashes!

Ema is starting to become a good artist;

she drew this picture of the butterfly all by herself.

She didn't think she knew how to draw one, but the next thing

I knew she had figured it out all on her own.

Pumping some water

Ema and I have been spending some quality time together

with Ava in all day kindergarten.

One day we went outside on a nature walk to look for

treasures and found this shell of a cicada.

We had a great time looking them up on the internet

and trying to learn all about them.

She had a wonderful time questioning me

about if it was a shell or if he was still in there.

She wasn't sure at first if she wanted to hold it, but

eventually did.

Then, we had to show daddy our findings!

Life learning is SO MUCH FUN!!!!

I'm so blessed to get to do that with them

each and everyday!

Ema's First Day of Preschool

Ema started preschool this week!

She was super excited!

Our little princess!

Ila & Ema
Walking into the school.
Ema is in the 4yr program at Christ Lutheran Preschool!

First we had to get one more pictures before going in!

This is our door, waiting for it to open

There is a cute little bench with a basket of activities

to play with while we wait for the door to open.

There is a 30 min. wait between dropping off Ava

and then to drop off Ema, but

they are at the same location which is really nice.

Of course we had to have a picture by her door!

Ema's class: Mrs Howard's Sunbeams

Ema sure is a Sunbeam in our house

so I think she is in the PERFECT class!

SQUEEZE-Bye Ila

Ema's name tag for her box and her hook.

There's a lot to do before starting your day at preschool:

hanging up your jacket and school bag,

then washing your hands,

finally finding your table activity.

Today it was puzzels!

Ema found 2 she liked and got right to work.

Thankfully she remembered to blow mommy

one last kiss before I left!

She had a GREAT first day:

her job was making sure all the chair were

pushed in before they left that day, she forgot to do it

but I told her that was ok, she'd

remember next time.

Her favorite thing to do was going outside to

play on the playground and in the sandbox!!!

There's a great year of learning ahead for her!!!!

Ava turns 6 years old!

Wow how the year pass quickly, just 6 years ago Ava Josephine

came into the world. She has grown so beautifully through out

the years and we so look forward to what the Lord

has in plan for her and her life.

Treats for School!

Ice Cream cone cupcakes

Ava was very excited to take them to school

and share with all her friends.
Now it's time to move on up to a booster seat!

Ava was soooo excited to try it out.

"yep...I'm big"

Then it was off to Build-A-Bear. Ava picked out a kitty named Crystal.

She got to warm her heart....

Then she washed off Crystal.

Ema helped her out.

After the bath, we tried on some outfits.

Bringing Crystal home!

Then it was party time! Princess yahtzee.

Gift time!

A beautiful ice cream cake! The sandals were magnets.

After the cake, games, and gifts we headed to the pool!
