Two Month Check-up

Okay folks, let me tell you babies of the world, visiting the Pediatrician is not the coolest or funnest outing with mom. That mean nurse lady poked me AGAIN with FOUR needles this time. Can you believe it? It better be something good they're giving me. I will tell you though I now weigh 11 lbs. 5.2 oz! I'm sure growing good the doctor said. I was also 22.5 in. long. He said I was doing great. Good thing I don't have to go back for awhile.

What a great week we've had!

Hello all! Ava here again. Boy did I have a fun week! It all started last Saturday when Grandpa Randy and Grandma Beverly stopped by to see me and Sandy (and mom and dad too I suppose). They were going to get some big cows in another state so they couldn't stay long. We went to church on Sunday when they left and almost as soon as we got home, Great-grandpa and Great-grandma Bernard knocked on the door. They had been out to see my cousins in Ohio so they had lots of fun pictures to show me. That chatted with mom and dad for awhile, told me how cute I was, and headed off back home to Osborne. But before they left Grandma Carolyn and Aunt Angie (actually she's my cousin but aunt is so much easier for me to say) came to our house. This was awsome! So much family I must be special. Well, Grandma Carolyn and Aunt Angie stayed for a few days. We had a lot of fun but I was also sad too. Dad was in some place the call Texas training something or getting training for work. Something like that. I get confused sometimes. He was gone all week. But mom was there taking good care of me like she always does. Well, after Grandma Carolyn and Aunt Angie left I was sure my visitor days were over. But boy was I wrong. Aunt Wendy and cousins Justus, Ransom, and Addie came to visit. We played and talked and played and slept. We had soo much fun! But they had to leave also. Dad was back, though, before they left so life was good! And rumor has it that my family visiting is not over. I heard through the grapevine that Grandpa Larry and Grandma Julie are coming to my house this week. I even heard that when they get here, we are going to go visit Uncle Shad, Aunt Amy, Cousin Abby, Cousin Meaghan and McQuire. And Uncle Shon and Aunt Jeanna will even be there. Talk about being a lucky gal! I might even get to see Grandma Jenny, Grandpa Bill and Great-grandma Marietta before this is all through. Okay, I have to rest now. I am not a great typer so it took me awhile to write this and my fingers are tired. By by for now.

Her I am with Grandpa Randy in his big truck! I was going to go for a ride with him but he and Grandma Beverly had to go pick up some cattle. I'll get a ride soon. He even said I might be able to watch cartoons in the back of his truck if I am good!

I'm afraid mom and dad will put this picture in my school's yearbook when I am in high school. When they're not looking, I will try to delete it.
